The knowledge of academic literature – meaning the knowledge of sources as well as studies – is crucial in research. In dealing with Hildegard’s work a good working bibliography is required.

The St Hildegard Academy aims to create an entire, international scholarly digital bibliography.

The bibliography includes the bibliographical data of sources (Latin editions), translations into various languages and studies on the life, person and work of Hildegard as well as on the history of the impact and reception of her works.

The bibliography can be accessed digitally. The St Hildegard Academy maintains the bibliography regularly.

The bibliography is based on the open-source reference management software to manage bibliographical date called ZOTERO.
